The St. Michael’s Hospice Lottery is a lottery drawn every Friday with the aim to raise vital funds to help us to continue providing our specialist care and support to those with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers; enabling them to attain the highest possible quality of life.
You can purchase up to a maximum of 10 numbers per lottery draw, with each ticket costing £2 each.
You could win one of our 20 weekly cash prizes, including our jackpot prize of £1,000, second prize of £100, third prize of £50, fourth prize of £20 and 16 runner-up prizes of £5.
The monthly cost breakdown of £8.68 for playing the lottery is based on paying £2 per week over a 52 week year. Direct Debits are only collected once monthly. Sometimes there will be five weeks in a month and the additional £0.68 is to build up credit to cover the fifth week on the five-week months.
We will contact you by letter to notify you of a win. You can also check our Winners page for a full list of weekly winners.
You won’t need to do anything. We’ll verify your identity in the event of a win, then send you your prize to your registered address. It's that simple!
Although you can’t choose your own number, our number generator will assign you a unique entry number that will be exclusive to you. It’s the best and most secure way to play.
The minimum age to join the lottery is 16. No prizes will be paid out to winners under the age of 16.
